Dawson Diamond Community Sponsorships

Dawson High School is home to the award-winning Dawson Diamond Drill Team. Now in its eighteenth season, the 2024-2025 team is made up of 29 freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors dedicated to perfecting their remarkable skills. The Diamonds perform exciting programs at football games, represent Dawson High School at drill team competitions, and stage an incredible spring show extravaganza, "Diamond Dazzle."

The Diamonds Drill Team is a year-round organization that requires enormous dedication from the dancers and directors as well as many volunteer hours from parents. In addition to these commitments, it also requires substantial financial support to help ensure a successful team. The expenses associated with this activity can be phenomenal (costumes, props & accessories, travel, meals, competition fees, etc.), which makes it necessary for the Diamonds to seek outside assistance.

In addition to the day-to-day costs of supporting the team, the Dawson Diamond Booster Club is proud to be able to award scholarships to select graduating Diamond seniors in pursuit of higher education. A portion of all sponsorship dollars is automatically applied to the annual scholarship fund.

We strive to create a mutually beneficial relationship between our team and our sponsors. While we have outlined benchmarks with certain benefits on the following page, our team accepts financial support of any amount. The Dawson Diamond Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization as identified by the IRS, resulting in your contribution being eligible for a charitable deduction. Our team will also graciously accept in-kind donations, such as providing team meals, gift cards, and the like. All support is acknowledged on our website and social media platforms.
